TEC Electric Motors – the story so far…

TEC Electric Motors was established in 2006, we had a bold vision to take over the industry by providing excellent customer service backed by trustworthy suppliers who were able to provide a proven, quality, and reliable product range. From TEC’s humble beginnings in a cramped warehouse and tiny office, year on year we have increased sales, meaning our family has grown, as well as our surroundings.

Achievement Milestones

2008

2008 saw our first move into bigger premises at Rushock Trading Estate, giving us the opportunity to support growing sales, investing in a more comprehensive stock profile continuing to add new products to our existing range, as well as increasing our sales team.

2011

By 2011 we had already outgrown our new larger warehouse. A continual increase in sales, demanded more space! With a new additional plot purchased, the internal sales and accounts team soon outgrew their existing office space, and with more warehousing space we were able to create an official gearbox department & specials division. We were able to utilise our old office space converting our original unit into a conference room and the warehouse space into a motor stock haven!

2013

Our next step was to start our invasion of the UK! 2013 saw our TEC North branch opening, followed by our TEC Scotland branch opening in 2014. These branches carry a mirrored stock profile held at TEC HQ, albeit at a reduced quantity, meaning no matter where you are in the UK, we are always close by to support our customer’s needs.

2015

By 2015, our new premises were ready for a spruce up! Our offices were extended, including new kitchens, bathrooms and fully re-decorated offices, as well as bringing our technology up to date with a brand-new training room & product exhibition area.

2016

In 2016 we attended our first Drives & Controls show, we were able to highlight how far we have come over the years, as well as being able to showcase our abilities to existing and new prospective customers.

2017

2017 saw our biggest year yet, achieving sales in excess of £15m!! It is safe to say that all the hard work and dedication from the entire workforce, as well as continued support from our valued customers, has paid off.

2018-2020

TEC will continue to march forward meeting the industry challenges with vigour and enthusiasm. The Team at TEC have 20/20 vision which will see the company hit £20m sales by the year 2020, and by 2030!!.....watch this space!!

Moving Forwards

So, what’s next for TEC Electric Motors?...We are now all moved in to our new HQ facility on Hartlebury Trading Estate! We will continue to grow our customer base, opening further branches in the near future to provide even more access to our ever-growing stock holding, and continuing to provide a first-class experience to all of our supportive customers.

The TEC team have come so far in just 12 years, and show no signs of slowing down, we are Spartans by name and Spartans by nature!!
